Cooke City Wedding
Design & Project Management
Cooke City, MT
The Cooke City, Montana wedding project was deeply rooted in the history, landscape, and story of the property. With Alyssa’s family history tied to the cabin, the warm woods of the home became a natural foundation for the design. The surrounding green pine trees, blue Montana sky, and dramatic mountains helped shape the color palette and created an authentic backdrop for the entire celebration.
Against that natural setting, bold tones of black, white, burgundy, mauve, and red brought contrast and a modern edge. Wildflowers were a major part of the design and appeared throughout the smallest details—even incorporated into the wedding dress—creating a connection between the celebration and the surrounding landscape.
The crystal details were inspired by the many crystals found in the nearby riverbeds, adding a subtle sense of place and sparkle. Even the dirt became part of the experience, embracing the Montana setting while balancing it with chic, modern elements. The overall design was a blend of rustic and refined—honoring the history and natural beauty of Cooke City while bringing the celebration into the present day with a fresh, modern perspective.
