This Ventura baby shower was an especially meaningful project because it was created to celebrate my sister-in-law and the arrival of my new niece, Emi Jo. Being able to design such a special day for our family made this project one that I’ll always hold close.

My sister-in-law envisioned a “Baby in Bloom” theme, while my mom—who came up with the idea to throw the shower—wanted to bring in a soft, feminine feel that complemented the concept. Together, we created a look that felt sweet, fresh, and perfectly suited for celebrating a baby girl.

The color palette centered around soft pinks, whites, and sage green. These timeless colors worked beautifully together, creating a feminine palette that complemented the garden-inspired “Baby in Bloom” theme without feeling overly traditional.

From the floral details to the overall styling, every element was thoughtfully chosen to create a warm and joyful setting for celebrating Emi Jo and this exciting new chapter for our family.
